I'll Become a Villainess

I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History will debut on October 1, and ahead of this a trailer has dropped that offers a short sneak peek of the very first episode. The episode in question is called “Villainess and Muscle Training” — and you will see some athletic training in it.

Crunchyroll has promised to stream the series simultaneously with its Japanese release.

I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History was made at Maho Film, with Yuji Yanase helming the project as director. Series composition was handled by Sawako Hirabayashi, whose credits include Horimiya and Kuroko’s Basketball. The music was composed by Moe Hyuga. Credit for character design goes to both Yuko Watabe and Eri Kojima.

The isekai story I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History started out as a light novel series by Izumi Okido and Jyun Hayase. There is also a manga adaptation from Akari Hoshi. Yen Press has licensed both, with the first volume of the manga scheduled to come out on October 15, 2024, and the first light novel scheduled to come out on February 18, 2025. Yen Press offered this description for the plot:
