More details have been revealed for the next Utano☆Princesama anime film. The official title is Gekijōban Utano☆Princesama♪ TABOO NIGHT XXXX (Taboo Night Kisses), and the staff has been confirmed along with May 9, 2025 premiere plans.
Takeshi Furuta (Utano Princesama Maji Love Kingdom) is on board as chief director, with Akiko Seki (Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima) directing. The character designer behind many of the related series, Chinatsu Kuruhana, is credited with the original designs, and Maki Fujioka (Utano Princesama Maji Love Kingdom and more) is character designer for the film.
The film will focus on the QUARTET NIGHT UNIT, including Showtaro Morikubo as Reiji Kotobuki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ranmaru Kurosaki, Shota Aoi as Ai Mikaze and Tomoaki Maeno as Camus. The unit will also provide the film’s main theme song, “TABOO NIGHT XXXX,” as well as insert song “JINN-Ω-RAY.” Look for the new single to launch in Japan on December 25, 2024.
