The second season of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse hits Japanese screens October 6. Now we’ve got a fresh look at the upcoming season thanks to a new piece of key art and promo video.
The video previews the new opening song by UVERworld called “MMH.” This is the third song UVERworld has contributed to The Seven Deadly Sins.
The ending theme for the season will be “Akairo” by Hana Hope.

Netflix has not yet announced its release date for the new season.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is being made at Telecom Animation Film, with Maki Odaira of Pokémon Journeys: The Series as director. The scripts are being written by Shigeru Murakoshi, whose credits include I’m Quitting Heroing and Zombie Land Saga. Credit for character design goes to Youichi Takada. The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga began in 2021 in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha USA Publishing is bringing the series out in North America, and gave this description for the first volume:
Percival has always lived with his grandfather on God’s Finger, a remote haven that sits high above the clouds. And though he loves the simple life, he secretly longs for adventure. But Percival’s life is changed forever when an intruder—who shares a shocking connection with him—tears away everything he’s ever known. With nothing left to do but chase down the one who took everything from him, Percival sets out on his own. During his journey, the sheltered boy discovers that there are a lot of things he doesn’t know about normal life. Luckily, he meets friends along the way who can help him get by—but how will they react when they find out about Percival’s destiny… and how it’s connected to the end of the world?
