A new trailer for Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start With Magical Tools (a.k.a. Madоgushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai: Kyō kara Jiyū na Shokunin Life in Japanese) has dropped, and it includes the premiere date, a new member of the cast, and a sample of the ending theme song “Glitter” being performed by Marina Horiuchi.
The anime will begin on July 6.
The trailer lets us know that Ken Narita plays Carlo Rossetti. It was previously revealed that Saori Onishi plays Dahlia Rossetti, Atsushi Tamaru plays Wolfred Scalfarotto, Riho Iida plays Irma Nuvolari, Kenichiro Matsuda plays Marcella Nuvolari, Fuka Izumi plays Lucia Fano, Hiroki Takahashi plays Ivano Badoer, Yuriko Yamaguchi plays Gabriella Jedda, and Tomohiro Ono plays Tobias Orlando.
You don’t hear it in this trailer, but the opening theme song is titled “Chiisana Tsubomi” and performed by Nako Misaki.
The original light novels by Hisaya Amagishi and Kei are being published in English by J-Novel Club, which gave this description for the plot:
After dying of overwork in Japan, Dahlia is reborn into a world filled with magic. Raised by a master of magical toolmaking, she develops a passion for the craft and becomes engaged to her father’s apprentice. Before her father can see her wed, however, he suddenly passes away.
