LEGO comes out with all sorts of sets related to pop culture, and it’s teamed up with Nintendo to create the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set, based on the mega successful Legend of Zelda series!
The set will be released on September 1, and it consists of 2,500 pieces. This massive endeavor is aimed at fans 18 and older, and is priced at $299.99. While it still won’t be in anyone’s hands for a few months, it is available for pre-order. And, yes, there are LEGO figures of Link and Zelda who come with it! In addition to that, it has Link’s home.
The set has Deku Tree versions from different games: specifically, from the iconic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and the newer The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
GameStop gave this description for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time:
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time reveals the genesis of the fantasy land of Hyrule, the origin of the Triforce, and the tale of the first exploits of Princess Zelda and the heroic adventurer Link. Vibrant, real-time 3-D graphics transport you into the fantasy world of Hyrule. Your quest takes you through dense forests and across wind-whipped deserts. Swim raging rivers, climb treacherous mountains, dash on horseback across rolling hills, and delve into dungeons full of creatures that fight to the finish to put an end to your adventures. With immersive graphics, a sweeping story line, swashbuckling adventure, mind-bending puzzles, and a touch of humor, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of Nintendo’s most epic challenges ever.
Nintendo gave this description of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild:
No kingdom. No memories. After a 100-year slumber, Link wakes up alone in a world he no longer remembers. Now the legendary hero must explore a vast and dangerous land and regain his memories before Hyrule is lost forever.
Armed only with what he can scavenge, Link sets out to find answers and the resources needed to survive.
