If you’re looking to catch up on Yana Toboso’s Black Butler ahead of the new Black Butler -Public School Arc- anime, why not dive into the manga? Square Enix’s MANGA UP! app is making it easier than ever and is now making the first 14 volumes available to read free of charge for a limited time. This part of the manga is what leads up to the Public School Arc storyline.
You’ll be able to read for free from April 7 at 8:00pm Pacific Time until April 16 at 7:59pm Pacific Time.
The global version of the MANGA UP! app is also adding a new subscription plan called VAULT PASS. While you can still sign up the traditional way, going through the new plan will unlock over 10,000 chapters of manga that previously required payment or a wait time for a monthly fee of $4.99. This will also make 18 volumes of Black Butler available to read, and MANGA UP! plans to make future installments available later.
