Back in July it was revealed that Katsuhisa Minami’s award-winning manga The Fable would be receiving a TV anime adaptation. Now it’s been set for a Spring 2024 premiere on NTV in Japan, and a handful of designs were released alongside the news.

Ryosuke Takahashi (Armored Trooper VOTOMS) lined up to direct at Tezuka Productions, with Mayumi Morita writing scripts and Yuya Takashima writing and overseeing scrips. Hisama Kinoshia, Saki Hasegawa and Junichi Hayama are among the character designers.
Minami’s manga ran in the pages of Weekly Young Magazine from November 2014 to November 2019, followed by a sequel, The Fable: The Second Contract, that debuted in July 2021. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English and describes it like so:
