Frieren
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is full of powerful anime girls (and boys!), but the title character takes the cake. This magic-wielding elf has lived longer than most of the rest of the cast, and kicks off the series by outliving most of her peers. But that’s not where her true power comes in.
Frieren wields a variety of skills, and has watched humanity’s relationship with magic evolve over decades and centuries. While she collects seemingly unimportant spells, her true power level is phenomenal… as manga readers know. We’re sure she’s letting herself get bitten by mimics just to keep people guessing…
The Yes! Precure 5 Team
The Precure franchise corners the market on powerful anime girls. Each has their season before passing the baton. But as we see in Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~, that’s not necessarily the end of the story. When duty calls, the magic can return!
The series begins with the girls of Yes! Precure 5 dealing with the struggles of a grownup world: modern worries, idealism down the drain, and hangovers. But when a new evil begins to take over the city, the girls find the ability to transform again! With the ability to wield their youthful Precure forms and powers, maybe they’ll be able to save the city. Or maybe there’s something even bigger at stake. Only time will tell.

My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer introduces Angelique, one of the strongest anime girls we’ve seen in ages. She’s such a good fighter that she’s in constant demand. That’s great for her wallet… but terrible for her family life. All she wants to do is go home and spend time with her beloved dad, but monsters just won’t let her be.
Bad news for monsters, though: all those delays just make her angrier. And when she’s angrier, she’s more powerful. Eventually, she does reconnect with her dad Belgrieve. Maybe this time, the pair can spend some quality time defending the locals and destroying monsters together!
