A new trailer and visual have arrived for the World Dai Star anime, which is part of a mixed media project that also includes a mobile game, web radio program and web manga. The manga will kick off its run in Japan on April 2, the game launches this summer and, as revealed in the latest update, the TV anime will start its broadcast on April 9.

Yuu Kinome is directing the World Dai Star anime, with series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi and character designs by Majiro at anime production house Lerche. The series is set in a world that experiences a theatrical popularity boom, and the best actors are known as Dai Stars. Kokona Otori is a 16-year-old girl who aspires to become a World Dai Star by auditioning for the theater company known as Sirius, and the show follows her dreams from there.
