To Every You / To Me Anime Films Preview Love Story in Clips

To Every You I’ve Loved Before and To Me, The One Who Loved You are a pair of anime films based on Yomoji Otono’s sci-fi romance novels, and they’re set to premiere simultaneously in Japan on October 7. With the release date coming in hot today, two new promos streamed to highlight the theme songs and the romance at the heart of the films. 

The first features “Kumo wo Kou,” the theme song to To Every You I’ve Loved Before as performed by Keina Suda, who also performs an insert song in the film. 

Insert song:

Japanese rock band Saucy Dog performs, “Shion,” the theme song for To Me, The One Who Loved You.

The band also performs insert song “Summer Day Dream”:

Hopefully we’ll be seeing both of these films in English at some point!
