Original anime series Shinobi no Ittoki is on the way to TV in Japan on October 4, and a new promo arrived along with five more cast members and ending theme details. Japanese band hockrockb is set to perform the ED, “Oboetate,” and you can check out a sample in the new trailer below.
New cast members include:
Yuki Takada (Elma in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) as Shione Kozuki:
Tomoaki Maeno (Arc in Skeleton Knight in Another World) as Hayato Goshogawara:
Masaya Matsukaze (Kyoya in Ouran High School Host Club) as Genji Karajishi:
Mugihito (Kaseki in Dr. STONE) as Juzen Jiraibo:
Nanako Mori (Yukiko in MEGALOBOX) as Kominami Mitsuhashi:
Shu Watanabe (episodes of Re:CREATORS) directs Shinobi no Ittoki, which is an original project from DMM Pictures and TROYCA. Crunchyroll previously announced plans to simulcast the series after it premieres in Japan this October, describing it below.
Ittoki Sakuraba was an ordinary student, until his life was turned upside down! He finds out that he is the 19th heir of the famous Iga Ninjas. The Iga must try to defend what is theirs from the Koga, a rivaling clan seeking to end Ittoki’s life. Ittoki is left with no choice but to become a shinobi that’s strong enough to not only protect himself, but also his village. Now a student at Kokuten Ninja Academy, a high school specializing in shinobi techniques, Ittoki learns the way of the modern-day ninja, equipped with high-tech suits and gadgets. Together with students from other villages, Ittoki clashes with the Koga in an attempt to end the rivalry once and for all.
