Following up on the first three announcements, the key quartet of cast members have been finalized for the live-action Yu Yu Hakusho series. Rounding out the cast is Shuhei Uesugi (Shinichiro Kazama in the live-action My Boyfriend in Orange) as the fiery—but no longer red-haired, it seems—Kazuma Kuwabara.
Now that we have Kuwabara in, we can check out the full lineup so far:
DISH// member Takumi Kitamura (Takemichi in the live-action Tokyo Revengers movie) as Yusuke Urameshi:
Jun Shison (Masa in the live-action The Way of the Househusband) will play Kurama:
Kanata Hongo (Armin Arlert in the live-action Attack on Titan) will play Hiei:
And Shuhei Uesugi as Kazuma Kuwabara:
Sho Tsukikawa (Hibiki) is directing the live-action Yu Yu Hakusho, with Tatsuro Mishima on scripts and Robot Communications handling production. The series is currently set to drop in December 2023.
