If you’ve been keeping up with the Tokyo 24th Ward anime—which is one of three shows anime studio CloverWorks is producing this season—you’ll need to wait a little longer for episode 7 to arrive. The next episode was originally slated to premiere in Japan on February 16, but it has been pushed back a week to February 23 due to production concerns.

According to the announcement on the official website, the delay was put in place to “maintain production quality.” The post also thanked fans for their continual support throughout the season.

We have decided to postpone the broadcast of episode 7, which was scheduled to be aired on Wednesday, February 16, in order to maintain production quality.

The 7th episode is now scheduled to be broadcast on Wednesday, February 23.

The Far Eastern Special Administrative Region, also known as the 24th Ward, is a man-made island. Shuta, Ran, and Koki were born and raised on the island. A year afterward, the three friends are reunited by chance at a memorial service held for the incident. All three of their phones suddenly ring simultaneously.
