Okay, let’s be real. We’re all tired. We’re all stressed. And we all just want nice things for a change. Fortunately, there are good and pure moments from the current season of anime for us to enjoy.
So stop for a moment, take a deep breath, and join us as we look at a few of our favorite soft, cute, and overall just good moments from the season so far.
Setsuna Playing the Violin
Setsuna knows what it’s like to have a bad time. In Inuyasha: Princess Half-Demon, one of Sesshomaru’s twin daughters literally doesn’t sleep. And we don’t just mean she’s a restless sleeper.
In terms of nice things, she takes up the violin during her time in the present day. Not only is it something for her to do, it chills us out, too. Now let’s hope Towa can help her do something about that Dream Butterfly.
Nana’s Hair
Anime YouTuber Gigguk recently described Talentless Nana as “Among Us Hero Academia,” and he’s not wrong. There’s intrigue and deception around every corner of this super-school, so these students are definitely in need of nice things.
The super-smart Kyoya calms his mind by touching soft things, and Nana’s adorable hair definitely counts. Okay, this may not be the best thing for her (and he definitely needs to ask first). But we agree, Nana’s hair is adorably fluffy.
Yuna’s Healing Bear Jammies
In fairness, Yuna has plenty of nice things. She’s got a super strong bear kigurumi, access to all her real-word money, and a new world full of adventures. Picking just one thing from Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is difficult.
But if we had to choose, we’d go with Yuna’s bear jammies — which is her regular outfit turned inside out. It looks comfy and cuddly, for one thing. For another, it heals up the wearer overnight. Yes, please.
Emma Verde’s Love of Food
Love Live! is always full of nice things — that’s the point of the series! School idols want to make their fans happy. And in the recent season, each idol gets to explore what that means to her.
Transfer student and former Normal-card girl Emma Verde loves to make people feel warm and fuzzy inside. Her enthusiasm for her new life in Japan does just that. But for our money, it’s her adoration of Japanese food that we’re especially enamored of. Let her try all the tasty food!
Nasa and Tsukasa’s… Everything
If nice things were an anime, they’d be TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You. We refuse to choose just one thing from this final show. The newlywed relationship of Nasa and Tsukasa is so heartwarming, we almost can’t stand it.
Settle in for a marathon of this when you need to unwind, and enjoy the fact that hand-holding is what makes the world go ’round.
