Kaguya-sama: Love is War Live-Action Actors Totally Nailed It

Live-action adaptations are hit or miss, but from the look of the first teaser trailer it seems as if the leads in the Kaguya-sama: Love is War movie have at least nailed their respective roles. Based on the manga by Aka Akasaka—which was recently adapted into a Winter 2019 anime series—the movie is directed by Nisekoi‘s Hayato Kawai and stars Kanna Hashimoto (Gintama‘s Kagura) as Kaguya Shinomiya and Sho Hirano (of the King & Prince idol group) as Miyuki Shirogane.

With filming taking place in the Tokyo suburbs between March and April of 2019, the Kaguya-sama movie is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on September 6. See how the stars look in action in the video below.
