Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- recently lit up Japanese theaters with a pair of OVAs, but fans are still waiting for Re:ZERO season 2 to premiere. The continuation is set for this April, and the official website revealed the opening and ending theme performers for the next set of episodes.
First up is Konomi Suzuki, who returns from the first season’s original opening to perform the OP for season 2. Suzuki recognizes how important the first song, “Redo,” has been over the years, and hopes to transcend it with this as-yet unrevealed theme.
As for the ending theme, nonoc will be handling that one, hot on the heels of performing EDs for both the Memory Snow and Frozen Bonds OVAs. The artist said she wants to continue to keep the series exciting, so stay tuned for more details on both as we gradually close in on the anime’s April debut.
