Thanks to an update on the official website, we now have a few more details about the upcoming Layton Detective Agency ~Katrielle’s Mystery Solving File~ TV anime, based on the game by Level-5. The latest news has Johnny & Associates idol Tsubasa Imai making his anime voicing debut in a guest role as Simon Light, a British man who hires the Layton agency to solve the mystery of his missing family members.
The Layton Detective Agency anime will premiere this April with Kana Hanazawa (Kuroneko in Oreimo) in the lead voice role as Katrielle Layton. Other cast members include Jyurota Kosugi (Henken Bekkener in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam) as Sherl, Kyosuke Ikeda (Sou Inuoka in Haikyu!!) as Noa Montreux, and Yohei Tadano (Shidoh in Gundam Unicorn) as Darjeeling Aspoirot.
Haikyu!!”s Susumu Mitsunaka directs the series and Utako Takada adapts Takuzou Nagano’s character designs for the Liden Films (Heroic Legend of Arslan) production.
