Over 25 years since its debut, Sailor Moon continues to be one of Japan’s most beloved manga franchises. Pop-up cafes featuring food and drinks themed after the manga and its characters are a near-yearly occurrence. Now the details behind this year’s Sailor Moon cafe have been revealed.
The cafe, which will pop-up for a limited time in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka, features hamburgers modeled after Luna and Artemis, a curry based on Tuxedo Mask, smoothies emblazoned with the faces of several key characters, and more.
Entrance to the cafe is by reservation only, with a ¥650 (about $5) seat charge. That charge, however, includes some Sailor Moon goods, including a poster and placemat.
