A couple new updates recently popped up for the new Gintama anime, which heads to late night TV in Japan on January 9. In addition to a list that reveals returning staff, the official website shared a new visual for the latest adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi’s popular Shonen Jump manga.
First up are details on the staff members, which include Chizuru Miyawaki (fourth Gintama TV anime) as director and Yoichi Fujita (first three series, Gintama: The Movie) in the same supervisor role as he had for the fourth series. Other staff members are:

Art directors: Nami Maniwa and Takayoshi Fukushima
Color design: Ritsuko Utagawa
Director of photography: Yuki Teramoto
CGI director: Tomomi Suzuki
