Gainax’s new Kobe branch, Gainax West, has something cooking in the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt department. What started with a mysterious “coming soon” tweet featuring Panty and Stocking’s familiar silhouettes was soon followed with the promise of more information on December 16.
The original 2010 Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, who went on to co-found anime studio Trigger and direct recent shows like Kill la Kill and Space Patrol Luluco.
