In celebration of the Girls und Panzer film, which debuted last month, stamp maker Itaindō is releasing this cool und dangerous looking set of stamps shaped like tank shells.
The caps of the stamps, which come packaged in a unique Girls und Panzer ammunition box, unscrew to reveal a custom stamp with the purchasers’ name, and, if they so choose, one five girls from the series.
As you may know, these stamps, or inkan, are important in Japan for agreeing to legally binding documents the same way we sign for things in the west. Itaindō specializes in inkan for otaku, and they’ve also done inkan based on Hetalia, Sword Art Online, Idolmaster and more.
These custom otaku inkan are not cheap: a single Girls und Panzer stamp runs ¥25,000 (about $205). Still, the look on your landlord’s face when you grab a tank shell out of your bag to sign a document: priceless.
