Sentai Filmworks Adds Utawarerumono OVA

Sentai Filmworks announced a new license earlier today in the form of the Utawarerumono OVA. The fantasy anime will be available through select digital outlets, with a home video release to follow.

The Utawarerumono OVA is directed by Kenichiro Katsura (animation director on Wake Up, Girls! and Macross 7), with Takamitsu Kouno (Yuruyuri – Happy Go Lily, Campione!) handling scripts for the AQUAPLUS and Chaos Project production.

This comedic fantasy anime consists of a group of side-stories to supplement the first entry into the Utawarerumono universe. Fans of the original series will recognize many characters as they run into more adventures and mischief.
