Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou Anime Previewed

What happens when a bookworm boy is killed during a robbery, reincarnated as a dachshund, and adopted by a cruel, scissor-wielding teenage girl? Your guess is as good as mine, but that’s the premise of Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou, an upcoming anime produced by GONZO (Gankutsuou, Strike Witches).

The series is based on light novels written by Shunsuke Sarai and illustrated by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. Storyboard artist Yukio Takahashi is directing, with Toshizo Nemoto (Inu x Boku SS) writing. The lead cast members include Marina Inoue (Gurren Lagann‘s Yoko) as Kirihime Natsuno and Takahiro Sakurai (new Berserk film trilogy’s Griffith) as Kazuhito Harumi.
