Sunrise Introduces Valvrave the Liberator Anime

The latest mecha series from Gundam studio Sunrise, Valvrave the Liberator, is due to make its debut in April. Since revealing the project, Sunrise has been gradually showing it off, and the latest “Explanation” promo offers a bit of footage along with some brief character introductions.

Valvrave is being directed by Kou Matsuo (Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Rozen Maiden), with series composition by Ichirou Ohkouchi (Code Geass), Tatsuya Suzuki’s adaptations of Katsura Hoshino (D.Gray Man) designs, and mecha designs by Kunio Okawara, Makoto Ishiwata (Blassreiter), and Naohiro Washio (Bodacious Space Pirates).
