Mike here. First up, housekeeping:
-Two flubs: The OCEAN’S ELEVEN news was “According to Tokyograph”, not “Tokyoscope”. That’s actually the name of Otaku USA’s live-action section. Also, ULTRAMAN DYNA was broadcast in 1997, not 1996. Bit of geekery on the last one but my inner fanboy couldn’t let that stand.
Now then, while it is heartbreaking that I have to miss out on so many good things in the coming weeks, there’s also one other thing that’s equally jarring: Harry Potter’s last romp in the cinema. In case you didn’t figure it out already, that’s why this week’s episode is titled “Mischief Managed”. The series was a big part of my teen years and damn if I didn’t emerge from the theater a bit glassy-eyed. Sad to see it go but it’s been a hell of a ride.
