It’s not to escape pop culture (though mind you, feel free to take advantage of that sale of Helen McCarthy’s The Art of Osamu Tezuka, it’s to flock towards it. They seem to be getting a crazy amount of exclusives over there, including concerts and random awesome film premieres. Its one thing to be stuck in one of the Uncool States while our neighbors get the really glitzy limited theater runs, but Hawaii’s caliber of stuff just makes my Inner Fan wallow in agony! So that does it, I’m moving to Hawaii! No wait, of course I’m not. Because I’m going to college. Ah-ha-ha. Le sigh.
