Viz Licenses I”s and I”s Pure OVA Series

January 8, 2009 Viz Media was putting out the I”s manga—by Katsura Masazaku (perhaps best known as character designer for Iria: Zeiram The Animation)—for quite some time. Having run its 15-volume course since then, it’s only fitting that they recently announced their distribution of the I”s OVAs, I”s and I”s Pure.
The first of the two adaptations originally debuted in Japan in 2002, with the Pure followup hitting in 2005. Viz Media will be releasing both together in a complete collection with an MSRP of $29.98. The release date for the set is March 24th, 2009, so fans of the manga have plenty of time to set some money aside and revisit the classic series in animated form.
