November 24, 2008 So you read the Otaku USA feature and its online companion piece and you’re still not convinced (actually, I hope you didn’t read about season 2 already if that’s the case)? Need some first hand experience with the series before you make the call? You’re in luck, because the Sci Fi channel will be premiering Gundam 00 tonight at 11:00pm ET/PT.
Sci Fi will be showing the first two episodes of the show on their Ani-Monday block, and there’s a lot of talent to look out for over the 25-episode course of the first season. Directed by Seiji Mizushima (Shaman King, Fullmetal Alchemist) with scripts supervised by Yousuke Kuroda (Honey and Clover, Hellsing), Gundam 00 offers a real-world twist on the Gundam mythology.
