If you’ve struggled for a while with your pen hovering just over next year’s calendar, you can now firmly jot that bold X down over the month of October. Imagi’s CG production of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy will hit over 3,000 North American screens on the 23rd of that month courtesy of film distributor Summit Entertainment.
In related news that will excite Happy Mealers like Daryl Surat, the release of the David Bowers (Flushed Away) helmed film will also coincide with the requisite fast food restaurant partnerships, as well as games, action figures and all that essential jazz. In the meantime, I recommend you watch TMNT a few more times (or for the first time), as that should be a pretty good confidence provider for any skeptics out there.
