The next Detective Conan/Case Closed anime film was recently revealed as Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire. The 23rd feature film in the series opens in Japanese theaters on April 12, 2019, and a teaser trailer has arrived to preview the battle between Kaito Kid and “the strongest karate fighter” Makoto Kyogoku.
The latest Conan caper takes place in Singapore and centers on the world’s biggest jewel, the Blue Sapphire, which is said to have sunk to the bottom of the ocean near the end of the 19th century. Meanwhile, Conan and Kaito Kid are wrapped up in a murder incident, and Makoto Kyogoku appears to stop Kaito Kid from stealing the Blue Sapphire.
