Silverlake Ramen Offering Naruto-Themed Menu Across U.S.

Ramen!

If you ever thought Naruto’s ramen looked so good you wanted some for yourself, you’re not the only one. Now restaurant chain Silverlake Ramen, which operates in multiple American states, has officially teamed up with Naruto to offer a limited-time themed menu and merchandise.

A press release explains:

“The themed menu will feature Silverlake’s popular item, The ‘Classic’ Ramen (pork, creamy pork stock, bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed, black garlic oil and a seasoned egg) with a Narutomaki Fishcake. The ‘Classic’ Ramen will be available in two combos. Combo one will include a Naruto and Silverlake Ramen collaboration headband; combo two will include a T-shirt with original Naruto artwork.”

The new menu has already started, and it will last until July 7. During this time there will also be exclusive Naruto goodies to buy, like headbands, T-shirts, hats, bags, and (because it is food-related) dishware. All the Silverlake Ramen restaurants in California, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington will be serving up this Naruto special. (If you live in or near one of those states, you can check out their locations here.)

You can thank Andy Nguyen of Happy Hours Group — who is described as a “experiential restaurateur” — for setting up this situation. Nguyen explained, “Working with a series as iconic as Naruto, I knew we would need to find an equally high-caliber restaurant group to build a successful partnership. Silverlake Ramen is the perfect partner to help bring Ichiraku Ramen to life.”

VIZ Media publishes the original Naruto manga by Masashi Kishimoto in English and gave this description for the first volume:

Twelve years ago the Village Hidden in the Leaves was attacked by a fearsome threat. A nine-tailed fox spirit claimed the life of the village leader, the Hokage, and many others. Today, the village is at peace and a troublemaking kid named Naruto is struggling to graduate from Ninja Academy. His goal may be to become the next Hokage, but his true destiny will be much more complicated. The adventure begins now!
