Viz Media announced a handful of upcoming releases today, leading with some new manga-based novels. More spinoffs are on the way, including Naruto: Itachi’s Story – Daylight this fall, Naruto: Itachi’s Story – Midnight this winter, and Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – Sunrise next spring, all three featuring original cover art by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto.
Tokyo Ghoul is also getting in on the novel action. Tokyo Ghoul: Days volume 1 arrives this fall, Tokyo Ghoul: Void debuts in early 2017, and Tokyo Ghoul: Past will follow after.
Finally, the backstory of several of the main characters of Gangsta. will be explored in the Gangsta.: Curse spinoff manga this winter.
