One thing the world can never have enough of is manga by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo. Thankfully, an interview with Japanese magazine Geijutsu Shincho reveals something new up his sleeve: a long-form shonen manga.
Set in the Meiji era, Otomo's new project will be his first long-form work since Akira, and also marks his first foray into shonen territory. The interview was part of a longer feature on Otomo, which included a new science fiction short, "Dj Teck's Morning Attack," presented in full color. Check out the sample image below:

Hopefully it won't be too long before we learn more details about Katsuhiro Otomo's new manga project, but the announcement itself is certainly cause for excitement.

I am looking for a way to contact Mr. Otomo about a very interesting animated symph-rock-tronic operetta feature film, The Microcosmic Cartoon Show (www.mccsproductions.com). I cannot find his manager or contact info at IMDbpro. Can you help me?
