There are some updates on the anime 365 Days to the Wedding! For starters, it has been announced that it will premiere on October 3. And then there is the song information. The opening theme song is titled “Kirakira” (translated as “Sparkling”) and performed by HoneyWorks feat. HaKoniwalily. Meanwhile, the ending theme song is called “Tsumari wa” (translated as “In Short”) and performed by GOHOBI.
365 Days to the Wedding is being made at Ashi Production, with Hiroshi Ikehata of FLCL Progressive helming the project as director. The person handling series scripts is Kazuho Hyodo, who is known for working on TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You. Credit for character design goes to Shuji Maruyama of Isekai Cheat Magician.
As for the cast, Saori Hayami plays Rika Honjoji, Kentaro Kumagai plays Takuya Ohara, Ami Koshimizu plays Asako Kurokawa, Fukushi Ochiai plays Hiromi Gonda, Kana Asumi plays Natsumi Komiya, Haruki Ishiya plays Keisuke Itsuki, Kentaro Tone plays Susumu Shinshi, and Joji Nakata plays Jouji-san.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga by Tamiki Wakaki and gave this description for it:
365 Days to the Wedding Plot
Takuya and Rika are coworkers in a travel agency in Tokyo. They’re both single, but they don’t mind, since they’re introverts with fulfilling lives at home. Unfortunately, now their job is looking to staff an office in Siberia, and non-married employees are the first to be considered. Rika is desperate to avoid the transfer and goes to Takuya with an idea: if they pretend they’re getting married in a year, they can stay in Tokyo. The only problem is the two of them barely know each other! If these two quiet coworkers “fake” a relationship, will it turn into something real?
Prior to this, 365 Days to the Wedding also received a live-action adaptation. Last year the manga series concluded with its eleventh volume.
