A Japanese broadcast premiere date has been revealed for the Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha anime, which is on the way to adapt the light novel series written by Okemaru and illustrated by Mizore Saba. The series will start its run on TV Tokyo and BS NTV on July 3, with other stations to follow in the days after.

Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha follows a high school boy named Wataru Sajou, who is madly in love with classmate Aika Natsukawa. He constantly tries to get her attention and daydreams about her, until he one day realizes he isn’t right for her and begins to keep his distance. As a result, Aika becomes convinced that Wataru hates her now, thus kicking off a comedy of errors.
Kazuomi Koga is directing the anime adaptation at Studio Gokumi x AXsiZ.
