Yu Yoshii Manga Aoshima-kun wa Ijiwaru Gets Live-Action SeriesAoshima-kun wa Ijiwaru (Aoshima-kun is Mean), the three-volume manga series by Yu Yoshii, is getting a live-action series.

The series will star Shota Watanabe from the group Snow Man as Mizuki Aoshima and Anne Nakamura as Yukino Katsuragi.

The manga, which ran from 2020 to 2021, is a romantic comedy about the 35-year-old single Yukino, who asks her office’s young “pretty boy” Aoshima-kun to go with her to a wedding on a whim. Before long, Aoshima takes things too far, telling the whole office the two are now a couple.

The theme song for the series will be the new Snow Man single “Kimi wa Boku no Mono” (“You Are Mine”). The series hits screens July 6.
