Yowayowa Sensei, the romantic comedy manga by Kamio Fukuchi, is getting the TV anime treatment.

The manga is about a new high school teacher named Hiyori Hiwamura who has a feeble (“yowayowa”) voice and constitution and the students who misread her feebleness for scariness. The manga launched in 2022 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and will have 10 compiled volumes as of December 17.

Author Fukuchi is also known for illustrating the manga Kaiju no Tokage.

Looks like there’s no official English release of the manga yet. Maybe the anime will inspire someone to pick it up!
