September 22, 2015 Yesterday, the full official English trailer for the anime Yo-Kai Watch was released on the show’s official YouTube channel.
Yo-Kai Watch is an anime based on the video game of the same name developed and published by Level-5. The series is about a young boy named Nate discovering and befriending mysterious creatures called Yo-kai.
The series has been a large success in Japan and it will be brought to America on Disney XD starting October 5 at 5:00pm ET/PT. It will be showing one new episode per day until the 9th and will have weekly new episodes on Mondays following. According to some listings, Canada’s Teletoon Saturday afternoon lineup will air the show a little earlier, with the debut set for 2:00pm on October 3.
Yo-Kai Watch for the Nintendo 3DS will be released in America November 6 and Hasbro will be releasing the toy line on New Year’s day 2016.
