Yano-kun no Futsu no Hibi Manga Gets Anime, Live-Action Adaptations

Yano-kun no Futsu no Hibi Manga Gets Anime, Live-Action AdaptationsYano-kun no Futsu no Hibi (Yano’s Ordinary Days) is a manga by Yui Tamura about a high school student named Yano who shows up to school injured day after day. He’s one unlucky guy: falling down stairs, getting bitten by dogs, running into trees… you name it, he’s done it. Class president Yoshida can’t stop worrying about him… and that worry soon blossoms into love!

Now it’s been revealed that Tamura’s romantic comedy manga is getting both a live-action film and an anime adaptation. The live-action version, which stars Yusei Yagi as Yano and Anji Ikehata as Yoshida, already has a trailer and a release date (November 15). Meanwhile, there haven’t been many details about the anime version revealed yet, but work on it is underway.

The Yano-kun no Futsu no Hibi manga kicked off on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in 2021 and is ongoing. There are currently seven volumes available in Japan.
