Kenichi Suzumura has voiced a variety of anime characters over the years, but for the time being he will be taking a break. Suzumura’s talent agency, Intention, announced the hiatus, citing poor health conditions that have continued to deteriorate. After consulting with medical professionals, the agency opted to prioritize recovery and halt work activities.
Any plans for Suzumura to return to work will be announced at a later date.
Many anime fans will recognize Suzumura’s voice. The actor has voiced characters ranging from Shinn Asuka in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny to Obanai Iguro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc, Shinichiro Niwa in Dog Signal and Bravern in Brave Bang Bravern!.
