The prime offering from this week’s set of Nintendo downloads actually isn’t a throwback classic for once, it’s Mighty Switch Force! Run-and-gun action meets brain-bending puzzles in this game from developer WayForward (Contra 4, A Boy and His Blob), which also means more fantastic music from composer Jake “Virt” Kaufman.
Mighty Switch Force! is available via the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $5.99, but it’s not all that’s out this week. Would it really be a portable system without Tetris? The timeless Game Boy version is now available in the eShop for $3.99. I’m pretty sure my mom still plays that version on the old brick GB…
Other items out today include Doodle Fit (eShop/DSiWare), Rytmik Retrobits (eShop/DSiWare), Chronicle of Vampires: Origins (eShop, DSiWare), Soccer Up (WiiWare), and the demo version of the WiiWare title Gnomz.
