The Tribe Nine anime is part of a mixed media project by Too Kyo Games, Kazutaka Kodaka, and Shuhei Yamaguchi that looks to deliver what we’ve always secretly wanted: eXtreme Baseball! The series centers on various gangs who compete in the over-the-top sport, and one of the gangs is on display in a new music video.

This one is all about Ota Tribe, and you can hear their theme song, “GAREKI WAR” (“RUBBLE WAR”), by PRAISE in the video below.

Yu Aoki is directing the Tribe Nine anime at Liden Films, with the premiere currently set for January 2022. Funimation already has plans to simulcast the series, so we’ll all be able to soak in the eXtreme eXcitement right at the start of the new year.
