‘Tis time for a new anime announcement with the reveal of a TV anime adapting Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei’s ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess manga. The adaptation is being directed by Yoko Kanemori—with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling scripts and Toshiya Kono and Satoshi Furuhashi on character designs at anime production house PINE JAM—and it’s currently set for a January 2024 premiere.
The lead cast so far includes Haruka Shiraishi as Princess, Chikahiro Kobayashi as Ex and Shizuka Itou as Torture Tortura. Check out a teaser below.
Since its launch on Shonen Jump+ on April 4, 2019, the ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess manga has been collected in 11 volumes and has racked up 200 million views. An English version is available via MANGA Plus and Shueisha offers this short but sweet description:
