If one eating-related monster anime wasn’t enough for you, there’s now an anime on the way for Sai Naekawa’s This Monster Wants to Eat Me manga, known in Japan as Watashi o Tabetai, Hito de nashi. There’s no concrete date, but the series is supposed to premiere sometime in 2025.
Naoyuki Kuzuya (Saiyuki Gaiden) is chief director, with Yusuke Suzuki (Duel Masters Win) directing, Mitsutaka Hirota (Days with My Stepsister) on series composition and So Ikuyama handling character designs for the Studio Lings production. Reina Ueda will voice protagonist Hinako Yaotose.
