Love Is Indivisible by Twins
Based on the light novel of the same name, Love Is Indivisible by Twins is your typical girl-next-door love story. Except there are two girls next door, and they’re twins! This summer anime puts our hero, Jun Shirosaki, in the crosshairs of his childhood friends, the Jinguji sisters. And these twins couldn’t be more different—from each other or from their appearances.
Older sister Rumi has a tomboyish look but a girlish heart. Meanwhile the younger twin, Naori, has the heart of an otaku and the appearance of a girl’s girl. Which will win Jun’s heart? Find out when Love Is Indivisible by Twins premiere July 10 on Crunchyroll!
Pseudo Harem
Despite the title, this summer anime isn’t actually a harem anime. Rather, Pseudo Harem is a rom-com about a theatre nerd doing the most to make her friend feel popular. As Rin tests her acting chops by portraying a gaggle of loving girls for Eiji, a problem emerges: she actually likes him!
The series is based on the manga of the same name by Yu Saito, which ran from 2019-2021. Will Rin manage to convey her feelings for Eiji while carrying on her dramatic activities? The series will stream starting July 5 on Crunchyroll, so tune in and find out then!
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian
SunSunSun’s light novel series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian blends love and linguistics, and its upcoming entry in the summer anime season promises to do the same. Alya (a.k.a. Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou) is a beautiful Russian/Japanese student who catches every eye in her class. Next to her is Masachika Kuze, an unmotivated boy whom she seems to have nothing but disdain for. Once in a while she speaks to him in Russian. What the class doesn’t know is that she’s flirting. What she doesn’t know is that Masachika knows Russian!
This highly anticipated series is scheduled to debut on Crunchyroll on July 3. Will Alya learn Masachika’s secret? Will Masachika be able to hold in his growing feelings for Alya? We’ll find out this summer!
