A new arc is on the way for the anime adaptation of Myojin Katou and Sao Mizuno’s The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody light novel series. The Ancient Arc kicks off with episode 9 on June 1, and you can take in a quick preview in the new key visual below.
The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody has Mirai Minato (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated) directing, with Michiko Yokote (Heaven’t Design Team) on series composition and Takayuki Noguchi (Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway) on character designs for the SILVER LINK and BLADE production.
Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series and describes it like so:
After accomplishing everything he could as king, the most powerful Demon Lord ever, Varvatos, is now bored. To spice things up a bit, he is reborn in the future as Ard Meteor. Not without first recalibrating his powers to be perfectly average. But there’s no way he could have predicted that everyone in the modern world would be weak as hell, making him totally overpowering once again!
