Sword Art Online Smartphone Game Revealed

Bandai Namco is cooking up a new Sword Art Online game for smartphones. Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag was recently revealed for iOS and Android devices during a live stream, and an official website is now live.

Memory Defrag will be a free-to-play, side-scrolling action-RPG that features both the story of the anime and an original story. Players will be able to take on quests with others, face off against bosses from the series, and battle with a deep system that includes normal attacks, parries, guards, jumps, and more.

Bonuses will be offered to those who pre-register, and the amount received will be based on the number of pre-registered users. Check out the promo and gameplay footage below.
