Yasuki Tanaka’s suspense manga Summertime Rendering is coming to the small screen in a TV anime adaptation, and the opening theme song performer has been revealed. Macaroni Enpitsu will kick off the show with a performance of “Hoshi ga Oyogu,” and you can hear a quick sample in the new teaser promo below.
Ayumu Watanabe is directing the Summertime Rendering TV anime, with OLM producing and Disney+ planning to stream the series starting this April.
Udon Entertainment will be releasing the original manga in English. Here’s the official synopsis:
A tragic incident calls a young man named Shinpei back to his hometown on the remote island of Higotoshima, Japan. But something sinister awaits upon his return, and a chilling sequence of events unfolds that will have dire consequences for Shinpei, for Japan, and for the entire world!
