A third full trailer has been revealed for the Metallic Rouge anime, which is on the way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of anime studio BONES. The original cyberpunk anime is set to kick off in January 2024 and will stream on Crunchyroll as it airs, and you can see more of what’s in store in the promo below.
Metallic Rouge features Motonobu Hori (Carole and Tuesday) as director, with Yutaka Izubuchi as chief director and series composition writer. Toshihiro Kawamoto (Cowboy Bebop) is on character designs and Taisei Iwasaki (Blood Blockade Battlefront) is composing the anime’s music.
The series follows Rouge and Naomi, who team up on Mars to investigate the murder of nine android girls who were purportedly hostile to the government.
