October 14, 2008 Anyone that checked out those animated promotional clips that Studio 4ºC did for the game probably isn’t too surprised by this announcement. The short bursts of animation practically begged to be released from their shackles, and Capcom isn’t one to let positive reactions to their media go to waste.
In recognition of the short’s popularity, Studio 4ºC is whipping up a 50-60 minute anime featuring all the brawlers with which we love to wrassle, and fans may not have to go too far out of your way to give the final product a gander. Though details are pretty much nonexistent at the moment, SFIV producer Yoshinori Ono has stated that the film will be tied to the release of the game in some way, as opposed to being its own standalone product.
